Shannon brings over 20 years of experience in Community Management, along with a genuine passion for creating welcoming, well-run neighborhoods where residents feel connected and proud to call home. She believes strong communities are built through communication, transparency, and positive relationships.

Originally from Houston, Shannon has been in San Antonio for nearly two years and has proudly served Brookmill. During her time as Community Manager, she has enjoyed being part of Brookmill’s growth from overseeing the Amenity Center and pool operations to supporting community standards, financial oversight, and architectural improvements that help maintain the beauty and integrity of the neighborhood.

Shannon values getting to know residents and encourages open communication. She looks forward to continuing to build connections, support Brookmill’s development, and help the community thrive for years to come.

Her role includes:

  • HOA Financials, Budgets & Assessments
  • Keeping up with Community Standards
  • Amenity-related Concerns
  • Homeowner Lot Inspections
  • Approval of Architectural Requests
 

Crystal Dungan

Crystal Dungan serves as Brookmill’s Lifestyle Director and is passionate about creating engaging experiences that bring neighbors together and foster a strong sense of community. A former teacher and proud military brat, Crystal spent much of her life living abroad, which sparked her love for people, culture, and connection.

When she’s not planning events and activities, Crystal enjoys crafting, discovering new restaurants, and attending musicals and theater performances. She especially loves opportunities to connect with residents and help create memorable experiences for all ages.

Her primary responsibilities include:

  • Planning and hosting community events and activities for all ages
  • Creating seasonal event calendars and traditions that bring neighbors together
  • Managing communications through newsletters, emails, and social media
  • Welcoming new residents and connecting them to community life
  • Supporting amenity use, reservations, and lifestyle programming
  • Assisting residents with establishing homeowner-run clubs and groups
  • Partnering with vendors, sponsors, and local businesses for events
  • Overseeing lifestyle budgets, contracts, and event logistics
  • Encouraging resident involvement through clubs, volunteers and feedback
  • Coordinating volunteer and charitable opportunities
  • Fostering a vibrant, connected, and inclusive community culture
